OB keeps telling me not to get pregnant because of my High Blood pressure ?

Curious if anyone is getting the same response ? i had preeclampsia my last pregnancy with my twins at 36 weeks. now my OB is telling me not to get pregnant right now ? i know i am overweight (300 pounds) and i could try to lose some weight but i also really want to try for one more baby. i also have PCOS so i do need medicine to help with that (metformin is what i took to get pregnant my last two pregnancies) 
Anyone else having this problem ?

Get your blood pressure under control first! She's not saying that willy nilly. Preeclampsia kills women and high blood pressure causes strokes and seizures when people aren't pregnant. Then there's pregnancy which is as strenuous as constantly participating in Olympic level sports.

Try to change your diet. I mean really try! Weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Diet by itself will help. I know that’s probably not what you want to hear, but it’s really the best for you and future baby. You want to be healthy for your babe. High blood pressure doesn’t only affect you, if affects the development of your baby in the womb. Losing weight can help with PCOS and blood pressure. ❤️ wishing you well. Please let me know if I can help you at all! You don’t have to starve to eat right. Just make all of your meals good portions and Whole Foods. Limit the processed stuff. That’s the best way to start.

It's easier to get pregnant and go through Pregnancy if you try to get ahold of some of this before hand. If you lose some weight and change your diet it will help lower your blood pressure.

I had high blood pressure and pre eclampsia with my daughter planning on trying fur our second when she turns one, I will be on meds for my next so I don’t get pre eclampsia and will be trying to lose weight so my body is as healthy as can be, try to lose some weight before getting pregnant it will be better for ur baby and ur own health pregnancy puts such a great amount of pressure on ur body ur dicta just looking out for your wellbeing.
