Chronic HB turned into HB after delivery
My pre-pregnancy blood pressure was 130/80s. I was diagnosed with chronic high BP while pregnant but never put on meds because it was never high enough to be treated.
I had baby last week and yesterday I took my pressure because I didn’t feel right. It was 150/100. This is the highest it’s ever been. I went to the hospital and they did blood work and urine. Everything looks fine, no postpartum preeclampsia. However, My OB put me on a temp blood pressure med that treats Preclampsia.
Has anyone experienced this?
