Do you warm up your lunch meat?

This is baby #5 for me. With my other 4 kids I didn’t warm it up & they were fine but my new doctor told that I need to warm it up before eating it.

I know it’s not recommend to eat ‘cold’ lunch meat during pregnancy. But I do occasionally get a craving here and there for a sandwich, and I’ve never warmed it up. I just try to eat less of it than I would not being pregnant. I’m 31 weeks and haven’t had any issues.

We aren’t allowed to eat it here at all it’s one of the biggest no nos but it seems to be fine in the US

I just accidentally ate cold turkey lunch meat in a salad from subway yesterday and didn’t even think about it until today🤦🏽‍♀️ I think eating it cold would be fine as long as it’s not like every single day

I fry any lunch meat as it’s not really recommend to eat at all unless fully cooked like frying it

Nope, my doctor actually told me its fine as long as I’m not eating it all the time, try to get the “natural” labeled ones, and to avoid any like gas station/questionable type sandwiches (which I do already lol).
