okay so i went in for my 40 week appointment on tuesday. up until then baby moved literally from the time i woke up to the time i went to bed with very few breaks inbetween of silence.

i got measured , heartbeat check and she felt around for baby. baby’s head is currently in my vagina. like where thighs meet vagina under panty line where the hair grows (see attached photo for a better understanding 😂)

i asked for a membrane sweep. i was 4cm and according her 25% effaced with a slightly thick cervix ? but the other doctor i usually see said i was 50% effaced at 37 weeks so i’m unsure about that part.

anyways. she said because baby was so low and because i was already dilated that the membrane sweep would and should be promising. i haven’t had any more contractions then the usual random ones. no spotting or bleeding. i have lots some of my mucus plug but i have been loosing it in pieces for awhile so i’m very doubtful it did anything.

however, i’ve noticed he’s not moving as much. i feel his feet shoving my ribs and sides sometimes but not him physically rolling around as much as usual. is that normal ?
