Bleeding after sex?

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice please, I’m 25 weeks pregnant and 2 days ago I had sex with my husband and shortly after realised I was bleeding. It was bright red blood like a period with period pain. The sex was more aggressive than usually and I just wasn’t ready as wasn’t into it. Called my midwife and she told me to go straight to hospital so we went straight there. I had period pain and also shooting pains in my lower belly.

They checked my babies heartbeat and that was all fine, checked my cervix soth speculum and that was fine too couldn’t see where I was bleeding from and why or why in so much pain they just sent me home.

That was 2 days ago and I’m still having the same dull period pain and odd shooting pain. The bleeding has stopped but there is scant Brown bits in underwear. I’m so sore and don’t know what this is or what I can do. Does anyone have any idea?

I’ve had previous mini laparotomy open surgery and the pain is round my scar (similar to c section) and in my pelvic area. I know it was from the sex but worried as I am still in a lot of pain!

I was surprised they didn’t scan me or look inside.

Any suggestions?
