Where is my placenta?

Question

Anyone else in their second trimester and have not been told where your placenta is?
All I know is it’s not anterior.
I’ve had 4 ultrasounds now and was never told where it is.
Is this normal?

Some don’t tell you where the placenta is. If it’s not anterior it’s probably posterior.

They never really told me either and I had anterior. The only reason they told me is bc I told them I was concerned couldn’t feel baby hardly ever at 20 week scan and they guys like “well that’s bc you have an anterior placenta” 🤦🏼‍♀️ would have been nice to know that! 
He told me there is 1 spot that it could be bad, but if it was that spot they would have let you know I’m sure!

I don't think they tell you unless it can pose a problem with feeling baby movement or delivery later on..for example if you placenta is covering your cervix you can't have a vaginal birth

I wasn't told but it was on my after visit reports. Placental can set in 4 different places while pregnant. Just ask your doctor next time you visit.
