Baby crying at my every time I sit down?

I play with him and walk with him but the SECOND I try to sit on the couch and just take a break he goes over and starts freaking out, I’m pregnant and tired all the time right now but I still put in the effort to stimulate and play with him. 
I feel like all he does is yell at me for everything now, but especially this. Is anyone else’s baby acting this way?

Mine is the same way. I found it helps to sit on the floor just a short distance away. Sometimes she wants to play with me and sometimes she will get distracted with a toy but me being the same height as her makes her calm down and give me some peace from the whining lol.

Oh man this is my baby to the T! I’m also pregnant I’m 31 weeks and my daughter just turned 11 months the other day. It’s so hard when you’re so exhausted from pregnancy and body changes and then chasing after a either crawling or walking baby. I finally had to buy a big baby gate play pen and the moment I sit on the couch she starts screaming crying mama mama over and over and I try to ignore it for a little bit but the moment I go grab her she gets into everything else. She the other day accidentally knocked over my lamp and crawled through the glass cutting her foot and it only took one second for me to not keep my eye on her. So I really feel for you, I know how hard it is and I keep hoping once this new baby comes I’ll feel better. My husband also is gone for work a week or more every other week so lord help me get through these times lol.

This is one of those phases where they often are going through some separation anxiety still and stranger danger. My little one latches his body on to me for the first few minutes when we go to any of the play areas in our house (I know play areas sound rigid, our house is just laid out architecturally in a way that we just have play areas everywhere), but he eventually builds his confidence up and wanders. He still comes back hastily after a few moments, but I do let him cry it out a little to self soothe. I don’t know if any of that info helps at all, but I sympathize with you. The freak out when you try to take a step back for a bit is beyond draining after a while. I actually felt mild resentment especially being overworked and under rested.

I sit in his room where he had free reign to go wherever and play with whatever but instead he screams at me until I pick him up. He's at an exhausting stage.
