Any mommies starting shedding weight after first postpartum period?

i gained 40 pounds while pregnant and lost it all within 3 weeks. just ebf. i dont look the same though bc i lost muscle and now its more fat and loose skin but still back at 130. now i'm trying to eat right and get my muscle back. for me the number on the scale doesn't matter. bc even though its the same number my body looks super different. try striving for a healthy body instead of a certain number is my POV.

I gained 33 pounds and lost 13 after giving birth and now I'm just steadily holding around 178-180. I'm exclusively breastfeeding but being in the Army I have to lose this weight. I'm gonna try and make it to 6 months of breastfeeding but not sure if I'll make it honestly

I lost 80lbs in the year after I had my first and third child (didn't lose much after my second but also got pregnant fairly fast with my third). I was bottle feeding and breastfeeding the first three months and then only bottle feeding my first daughter. And I ebf my other two.
I don't think it has anything to do with how you feed your child and all to do with calorie input and output. If you burn more calories than you consume, you'll lose weight. I exercised 2-5 times a week and cut my calories down to 1500 a day
