House work cleaning after first baby?

I know they say to take it easy but did anyone do cleaning like vacuuming, washing floors, scrubbing bathtub, and etc? I ended up in the hospital before 40 weeks. I had my baby at 34 weeks and I came come to a lot of work to be done. Is if fine to do this within a week of giving birth? Did you do any of this within a week?

Basically, if you feel up to it and want to, you can. Some have easy birth some not, so people are different in germs of recovery. But if possible, I would let your man do it at the beginning, just play the "I just have birth" card...

No. Please wait. You need to rest and your body needs to heal. All that stuff can wait trust me. The more physical stuff you do, the more you will bleed and you could end up hemorrhaging. Just take it easy mama!

I would wait at least 2 weeks. I cleaned my bathrooms and stuff but I waited 2 weeks. Also I would spread out what needs to be done throughout the week not try and do all of it at once. Your body is still healing on the inside even if you feel great it still needs time.

So, I did and I started hemorrhaging. I had a control issue and if things aren't done my way then it's not correct I had to learn how to let that go quickly.
