I still talk to my horrible father because I’m lonely

I still try and communicate and talk to my dad. He used to hit me when I was young, cheated on my mom, goes months without talking to me but I still try to FaceTime him because I’m lonely and when he does decide to call me back it’s nice having someone to talk to.
