Any Vegans prego?

Question

If yes, are you doing anything different to eat more healthy? Recommendations on vegan prenatal pills? Etc etc

I’ve been vegan since 2015 and just had a baby in May! I was vegan throughout my whole pregnancy. It was tough to find prenatal that was vegan and had all essential nutrients for pregnancy. I initially got Garden of Life vegan gummie prenatals, but they didn’t have iron, iodine, or DHA so I switched to solaray prenatals. It had non-vegan D3 in it but it was the only thing that was mostly vegan, had iron, iodine & DHA ad fit in my budget. I wasn’t happy about the switch but I had to do what was best For my situation. 
Other than that, my blood levels were always fine during pregnancy, I ate how I normally ate pre-pregnancy with a little more focus on fruits and veggies, and I had a 9lb 3oz baby!

Read the kind mama and try some my kind garden of life prenatal. Just check on your iron and b12 and keep a balanced diet.

Be sure to tell that to a doctor. Being a vegan is no problem, but they will try to monitor some things more, as vitamin levels. Most likely you get some sort of iron deficency, so it is wize to start to eat more iron rich food now already.

My only issue was anemia and a clotting disorder, but neither affected my birth. I took iron supplements.
