Your weight gain does not dictate babies weight, the only way to estimate would be a ultrasound and even that can be inaccurate.

My baby not even 1 pound at 20 weeks. He was 12 oz. And at 28 weeks he was only 2lb 8oz. These measurements are pretty average. So I highly doubt your baby is 3 pounds at 20 weeks.
