So, I am 7 weeks 3 days with my second pregnancy. I am showing like I was 4 months pregnant with my first. I found a hard grape like lump in my belly button while taking out my belly ring. After checking with my mother, we came to the assumption it was an umbilical hernia. I called my OB office and the nurse goes, “it’s very rare, but it can happen” then proceeded to tell me to keep my appointment for 10 weeks, not to come in early. I did some research and now I am a little scared. I’ve never had one and I don’t know how it happened. Can anyone help or share and experience? Should I be concerned? No fever, no vaginal bleeding, pain only when you push it, but I have extreme nausea (assuming due to pregnancy, not hernia). I just don’t want to end up in an emergency situation, if I can prevent it. My mom and great grandma are twins, could possible pressure from twins cause it?
