Ok so I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. My male dog just turned 1. He’s Half chihuahua half corgi I believe.

Keep in mind, I have another chihuahua, she’s a girl, and never bit me.

Ok so this isn’t the first, second, or even third time he’s bit me. I started noticing him aggressive towards me when I would walk him and he would see people and other dogs and just try and fight them. Obviously wouldn’t get close to other people and dogs for the same reason. But when I’d try to calm him down, he would attack me and start biting me. He would leave welts and a scratch here and there.

I tried to avoid people as much as possible. When I’d get home, I’d put him in time out. I would either put him in his cage/kennel for a period of time and let him relax. But then later on, every time I’d try to calm him down from barking, he would still attack me and start twirling himself with the leash. My hands would get stuck so I’d try to calm him down so I can get my hands out of the way but he would think I was attacking him and he would bite me and get aggressive. He’s gotten to the point where spit would come out of his snout😕.

I consulted a dog trainer from Petco, and he said to try and keep the leash close to my legs and to not interfere. Well I tried. Didn’t work. I tried a dog muzzle, kinda worked. Stopped the biting.

After a month or so, he calmed down a bit.

I tried taking him to dog parks so he can understand dogs are friends and not enemies. Worked I guess.

But now, today I cut my female dogs nails, she’s really well behaved so I finish quick.

Then I tried with my other dog... didn’t go well, he attacked me and but my hands pretty bad. I tried to hold him down by his collar because he was using his paws to scratch me and all I wanted to do was protect my belly. He didn’t like me holding him by the collar so he attacked even more.

He wouldn’t calm down, my hand got stuck to his collar right next to his mouth and oh lord... he went crazy in me biting me. I didn’t whatever just to try and calm him down. After a good long fight with him, I saw he was kinda calm so I tried to unwrap my hands off his collar. The reason why my hands get stuck and all of that, it’s because he has a chain collar. Doesn’t have spikes or anything, it’s a regular dog chain collar.

Anyways. I now have him on a leash next to my dresser. He’s in time out. My hands burn. I have welts and he made two of my fingers bleed.

Please help me. I don’t know what to do. And due to this virus, I can’t take him to get him trained or anything. He’s a good dog, but when I try and correct his aggression, he’s bad🙁
