I know they say wait until missed period but I think 12 is a first time to test or start testing. I got a faint positive at 9dpo so your chances are high of showing up at 12

Nope, I tested at 9dpo and got my positive. But some people don’t get a positive even at 12dpo and need a missed period + to get a positive.
