When does the pain stop after delivery?

Right away? Couple weeks? Days? I heard you still have contractions after delivery

Id say my bottom was sore for like 2 weeks (i had vaginal stitches). The contractions didnt bother me much. I only really noticed it while breastfeeding. Everytime i fed baby id have contractions and my stomach felt a little sour.  For me it is not that bad. After giving birth unmedicated everything else is a piece of cake lol.

Once the placenta was out, I felt fine. Aside from some mild discomfort from a tear and sore vagina which lasted about a week.

They will put you on pitocin to cause contractions to help your uterus go back to normal, but you will also be on pain meds so they shouldn’t be too awful. My first VBAC I tore REALLY bad so I was pretty sore for about 4 weeks but it wasn’t unbearable just more of an annoying ache. My second VBAC I didn’t need any pain med at all and no tearing. I was honestly fine. I felt like I did a zillion crunches but my woohaa was fine 😅

Uterus contractions lasted a couple days but they were not bad at all. The pain down in my vagina and butt lasted like 3 weeks. Couldn’t get out of bed myself or sit for a week and I only had a small tear up too and a small one on the bottom. The biggest pain was the feeling of my butt. Literally felt like bricks were sitting in my butthole for days. I’ll never forget that pain

You will contract after baby is born because you will still need to deliver the placenta

As soon as the baby and placenta were out the labor pain was over. That’s not to say I was pain free, but as far as contractions and so forth it was done. The pain I did have I didn’t notice/care about since I had my baby to worry about
