First diaper rash ever!! Which is the best cream?

We’ve got a little stomach bug over here, with tons of poop. Poor baby has his first diaper rash 😩 
The doctor recommended Desitin. This is day 2 using it. Still very red in two spots. Any advice? How long does it usually take to go away?
We are: not using wipes, washing bum in sink, letting air dry for 10 mins (soo risky with a boy LOL), applying cream & diaper

Aquafor will cure anything Desatin doesn't, in my experience with Flynn

We just got over a stomach bug! Poor babe, I hope it passes soon. We use zincofax and it’s worked well for us.

We use aquaphor for mild irritation, but the Bordeaux butt paste when he gets an actual rash (happens with teething for us). It literally clears it within HOURS for our little guy!

Burts bees cleared ours up in two days. Nothing else did the trick. Our pediatrician said the higher zinc oxide, the better

I use a little baby powder to absorb any moisture then use aquaphor.
