Did any of you go with your spouse to their BOLC training?

Question

My husband has his this month until December. They have him in a hotel on base. The only issue is we have a dog and a 4 month old. I’m not sure how comfortable I will be staying in a hotel with a baby and wild dog lol, but it’s for 4 months and we live about 6 hours away from the base. 
Just looking for insight!

First find out if it is a PCS or TDY move. if PCS your family can live off base or on in a real home. 
I moved with my husband for MP BOLC in 2014 for his pcs move. His course was 6 months long. There were not a lot of spouses there since many 2LTs are not married, but I valued that time with my husband. So much changes in your little's life in 6 months it would totally be worth it to me.

I did, but back then it was considered a PCS move rather than a TDY. You probably won’t be able to go with him honestly since it is TDY.
