Water breaking???

How do I know if my water has broken or not? Also what are some signs of early labor?

My water broke in two previous pregnancies and both times it had a popping sensation with it, like a water balloon.

I just left the hospital because I thought my water was leaking. Almost like discharge but more wet and didn’t smell like pee. I put a pad on and same thing. They tested it and said it wasn’t fluid. If you think you’re leaking or your water broke they’re gonna want you to come in. It’s better safe than sorry.

My water broke with my first one and I knew it was my water because I was seating on the toilet like 5 min before trying to pee everything so I wouldn’t have to go to the bathroom more than I had to during the night ( I sat there for 20 min ) Then when I went to bed I felt something popping and then plenty of water came out. Like maybe 3 hours later I lost my mucus plug . So it was the bloody show. Go to the hospital and get checked !

My water has broken with both of my kids. The first time, it came out in a very big obvious rush. The second time was harder to tell. It was leaking out so slowly it could easily be missed. I put on a pad and waited to see if it collected liquid. I could tell it had broken because the pad collects liquid and I recognized the smell from when my water broke with my first child. My waters smelled almost a little bit like semen if that makes sense. I don’t know how to describe it but it was a distinctly different smell than any usual discharge I had during pregnancy.
