So I am a teen mom (19) and I live with my parents as of right now. My mom and I share a car which I have paid half of because I’ll be getting it once my mom gets another car. I basically pay for myself and my daughter. So the basics (diapers, clothes, etc) I get about 1500 a month but I’m wondering could I financially pay my parents about $200 a month for rent (I know this isn’t a lot but their in need of some help with rent and I’m hoping that once my siblings see me paying rent (their 27 and 29) that they will also chip in so my parents won’t struggle as much and we can hopefully find a place). My question is could I financially afford this and also provide everything for my daughter and somewhat myself (as my parents pay occasionally with my clothes and such but I pay for most of myself as well.)

AKA- everything like my phone bill and health care is paid for by my parents and my credit cards are paid for by me. Whatever I can afford can of course go to one of those bills as well but I’d rather start out just paying my parents so just in case I find myself getting less then I won’t be in dept.
