I’m starting to give up on the idea of having a good nights sleep. Did you have any good sleep after 16wks?

I’m 16 weeks and starting to give up hope that I’ll be able to get restful sleep during my pregnancy.

I get up to pee probably 4 times a night but I fall right back to sleep. I haven't had any discomfort yet while sleeping and I'm 26 weeks.

I can sleep ok, it’s just soooo many bathroom trips.
But I sleep fairly good in between those.

My discomfort started around 27 weeks. Hip pain no matter what side I’m on and up at least 3 times throughout the night to pee.

i sleep better now (20w) then when i was earlier in my pregnancy, i only get up max 2 times to go to the toilet, but its more tossing to find a good spot to sleep! hope it gets better for you!

Pregnancy pillows help a lot, but no, I don’t remember good sleep with my first. I’m 13 weeks with my second, and I’ve noticed I’m getting lower back pain in the early morning until I get up 😫 I’m going to get a pillow ASAP

Try Calm! It's a powdered magnesium supplement that my midwives recommended. Really helped me sleep and is so good for the aches and pains that come as you go through pregnancy.

21 weeks and i’ve taken unisom almost every night since around 7 weeks. i wake up to go pee but i get 8-10 hours every night and i take naps every day. very cranky when i don’t get my nap!!!

I was super uncomfortable weeks 8-13 or so. Then I got a body pillow and it was so much better, but now (16 weeks) it's bathroom trips every few hours. I conk out pretty solidly in between though.

This will most likely be the best sleep you'll get for a while. Im sorry to discourage you. But specially if first baby. Nap in daytime when you can. Nighttime in second trimester is usually bathroom trip hassle and maybe start of restless legs ...but third trimester is just uncomfortable most nights :(
