Can I travel 3 weeks after giving birth?

I am supposed to be part of my best friend’s wedding in May and am wondering if I can still ttc this month or not. If it worked, I would be due 3 weeks before the wedding. I can’t remember how long the bleeding lasted after my first born or how much pain I was in 3 weeks post delivery. I would be able to leave the newborn at home with grandparents and be gone for the weekend. Any thoughts/perspectives are appreciated!

I would pass on this. What if things don’t go as planned? My PP after #2 was much different (worse) than with #2. I wouldn’t get pregnant to be due anytime near the wedding. Three weeks PP? Ouch!

My bleeding lasted twice as long with my second as it did with my first. I would imagine that the duties of being a bridesmaid and bring in your feet for that long would increase the bleeding. I traveled with both of my kids when they were 1mo, so I don't think the actual traveling would be a problem, but I personally wouldn't want to be away from my newborn for that long or be part of a wedding.

I had zero issues postpartum with either one of my daughters. We moved out of state, 13 hours away 2 weeks after our second was born. I drove my car with the kids and my husband drove his with the dog. It wasn't an issue in the slightest. My sister's wedding was supposed to be the following week but due to COVID it had to be postponed. But I absolutely planned to be there as here maid of honor at 3 weeks postpartum (although I certainly wouldn't have left our kids home. They go everywhere with us).
