I had my beautiful baby boy two weeks ago ( c section). I tried to nurse him while at the hospital but only on my right nipple bc he couldn’t latch to my left nipple since it’s so flat. Once discharged, I nursed him and my right nipple was bleeding so I stopped nursing or pumping. A week after, my nipple healed so I started pumping and there was decent amount of milk. I didn’t continue to pump, I don’t know why I was so dumb. I was exhausted from the bag not wanting to sleep at night and him having bad jaundice. Anyways, I started pumping and little bit of nursing again ( about 8 days after he was born) and now my milk supply is really low. I try to pump every two hours but I’m only get it like 5-10 ML total from both breasts. It’s now 2 weeks since he was born. Should I even continue trying hoping milk supply will increase ? Or should stop trying? Anyone had the same experience?
