Babysitter or daycare?

I’ve been a sahm for the last year & I think I’m gonna go back to work but terrified to leave my daughter 😔 I just don’t want too. I don’t trust anyone.. what do you think is safer a babysitter or daycare? I really don’t have family I’m comfortable leaving her with.. so It would probably be my friends mom watching her with another child she watches.

Please choose a daycare! You want to make sure at the end of the day your child is safe and not exposed to people besides those that you have agreed for them to be around. Social interaction for children at any age is extremely important! The one in one time is not always good because they aren’t playing with children their age. While pictures, text and phone calls will be great, you have no idea who else is in the home with your child if you choose in home. Not to mention, if they come to your home, unless you have cameras, some of the same things can happen. 
Just be smart about your choice. All it takes is One time for something to happen...statistically speaking those kinds of things don’t happen at a daycare. Good luck

I would honestly say it depends a lot on what's available. I feel super comfortable with my daughter in daycare and she's super happy to go.
But I know places in this country I live in where I wouldn't be comfortable with it at all. Like.... I would rather consider staying home myself.
Go visit a few places if possible or at least talk to someone over phone. And go with your gut feeling! And don't be afraid to change your mind 😊

I think you should tour and get information on a variety of places. Maybe interview some in home nanny, childcare centers, and home daycares. It might help you make the best and most informed choice for your child and what is available in your area.

Personally I am a child care provider from my own home . I also have kids of my own. If I ever had to opt to go to work I would 100 percent do a in home care provider of some one I know . I would personally never put my kids in a day care center bc they wouldn’t thrive in that environment. Some kids do some don’t. You know your child best try to figure out which environment your child would thrive best in is my best advice.

A nanny! I'm a nanny also, so that's what I would pick for my son. You can do a background check on them, ask for references, all that stuff while your child is getting one on one care.
