To Vbac or not to vbac ?

Kim

This is going to be kind of a long post, I really would appreciate advice. And please be kind.

My first daughter was a vaginal birth. And I loved it. It was empowering and beautiful.

My second daughters birth was an emergency c section in November. The day I gave birth is the day I found out something was wrong with her. She was born with cancer and passed 8 days after her birth.

I am now 6 months pregnant with my rainbow baby and this baby’s due date is also in November. Almost the same birthday as my angel baby.

I am TERRIFIED of having another c section bc my first one was so traumatic and I’m allergic to any morphine based medicine. Meaning after my c section I couldn’t get pain killers I basically had to take really strong Tylenol.. after my c section I had the shakes for hours and I was in so so much pain it was horrible.

Anyone heard of a successful vbac with less than 18 month in between births???

My doctor said I’d be a perfect candidate for vbac except for the fact that it will be 12 months apart not 18.
