So my doctor told me a few days ago that I’m a carrier for Alpha thalassemia. I don’t even know what it really is, so if someone can explain it to me it would be great. I’ve been over reading online about this, etc. But here’s my biggest problem, they ask my partner to take this test. But we’ve been fighting over it because he says he’s 100% healthy. That he doesn’t see the point in him taking it, if the baby already has a 25% chance of having that with just me being a carrier alone.
