Breastfeeding can be a form of “birth control” especially if you nurse a LOT. HOWEVER, it doesn’t act as a “birth control” for everyone, a lot of people can still get pregnant while breastfeeding. I did.

Idk if it’s easier or harder depends on your cycles I guess. 
I’m currently pregnant and breastfeeding. I thought I was okay since I was still nursing. Lol I was wrong.

I breastfed my son (exclusively for the first 6 months) and it took nearly a year to get my period back. I hear that is common so I would guess it is harder to conceive during that time.
 The thing is since your period may not be back or regular a pregnancy can easily sneak up on you so to speak. I have known several ladies get pregnant unexpectedly thinking that they couldn't or wouldnt while they were breastfeeding. So if you are trying to prevent, be careful and I'd you want another soon go for it!

Depends person to person. I my first pp period 4 months pp while exclusively breastfeeding and got pregnant that cycle. Kicker is i got we'd had sex a week after my ovulation window would have theoretically closed.

I don’t breastfeed and I never have, but from my understanding, it can prevent ovulation so I would assume that it’s harder to get pregnant while breastfeeding. You’d probably have to be consistently using OPKs to check ovulation and plan sex around that time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am not 100% certain though.
