I would suspect that he’s going through something and isn’t feeling in the mood. I’d talk to him and try to help him through whatever it is. This has happened to both of us and neither were cheating, we were going through shit

I would imagine a million things before cheating. Depression, body confidence issues, stress at work, back pain. The list goes on. It’s important t to have open communication so nobody is left in the dark and someone can offer help if appropriate.

Personally, I would first suspect porn. Its proven to lower libido. And it's easily accessed and takes less energy. I think he's found that as an easier way to take care of himself.
But if your husband is prone to having more psychological or emotional responses then I'd consider things like depression or stress or anxiety.
But if you're in a relationship where he has been unfaithful in the past, THEN I would assume he's cheating.

I don’t think him cheating would be my first thought if the only evidence I had was us not having sex for a while. Knowing me I’d probably think it was because I finally got too fat for him or something.

I wouldn’t jump to cheating. I would assume something was wrong and I would talk to him and we would have a discussion like grown ups.
When I was on birth control I had zero sex drive. It didn’t help that the BC made my depression far worse to the point of suicidal thoughts and ideation. My husband was lucky if we had sex once every 3 months because I wanted nothing to do with it. I had zero interest whatsoever. I was NOT cheating - I was *depressed*. 
I got off birth control and got better. I’m still depressed, but not to the same extent, and I have a normal, healthy sex drive. 
If my husband went from wanting sex as much as he does now to having no sex drive except once every couple of months, that would prompt me to check on his mental and emotional health first. I would want to make sure he’s okay because I’ve experienced that firsthand. I would not automatically assume he was cheating on me.

I would definitely suspect something mentally before I suspected cheating when it comes to my husband. I’ve had to talk to him a couple times because our sex life took a nose dive. We’d only have sex once a week (in comparison to every day lol), but he just pointed out with having a baby, differing work schedules, stressors, and everything in between, there was hardly any time lol.
