Fibroids and pregnancy

Hi everyone, I had my first ultrasound today! I was so excited to finally see the lil one and what an active one I have in my belly! It looked like he/she was playing peekaboo!

I thought I was 13 weeks but turns out I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow. Now, the lady doing the ultrasound sound got really quiet on me at some point and I freaked out! I asked her what she was seeing and she asked me if I knew what fibroids were and if I had had a uterus ultrasound in the past. I never have. She said she saw some fibroids and she measured them etc and every time I asked her a question about the fibroids she was very pleasant and answered me as professionally as she could not causing me to freak out. She did mention the doctor would reach out to me with more info and she did reassure me that she has seen this before and women have had healthy pregnancies as far as she knows.

Has anyone experienced this? Fibroids while pregnant?
