Bumbo seat

My friend gave me a bumbo seat. Should I use it? Why or why not?

It props baby up in an unnatural position, that's no good for baby's hips, back, spine, muscle development, and it doesn't doesn't learn baby how to sit. So no, I would never use it. 
Kids nowadays sit way more than they should, so no need to start it earlier.

My SIL gave us one and we never used it. Our son was breech, which can result in hip issues so we didn’t want to add to that. We got him a sit me up chair that lets their legs be in a more normal position.
