Question

Is there a detergent that when you look back, you thought “I could’ve used ______ all along because it does exactly the same as Dreft”?
I looked up Dreft and Purex Baby and the safety ratings are an F!!! 
What detergents are you using that are free of scents and dyes and all the terrible things we use on ourselves but we can’t on babies 🤣
I’ve heard of people using All Free and Clear, but those ratings are a D so not much better.

We never used Dreft. Seemed a little pricey to me. ALL has worked well for us and our daughter has never had an issue with it.

I use the arm and hammer detergent that’s free of dyes and perfumes. I used it for myself for years because I have sensitive skin, and use it for my daughter’s laundry now.

Biokleen! It has an A rating on EWG and works extremely well. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts forever even though I use it for the whole family. My son and I have extremely sensitive skin and this does not irritate us.

We’ve been using this for our laundry even before we had our little bub. Love it. They also have a lavender scent but we prefer unscented.

You don’t need special baby detergents. And you need some of the chemicals if you actually want your clothes clean. So don’t overthink it. We currently use Dreft in our home because it’s been good on our daughters sensitive skin. Otherwise, we’ve always just used Tide Pods.

We have used Charlie's soap for years. Maybe isn't THE BEST at removing tough stains but we have been happy with it. We plan to use it when baby arrives too.

I have severe allergies, especially to perfume scents in detergents. I alternate between arm and hammer and tide, which ever is on sale. I opt out of the floral scents and either get just a basic unscented or there “fresh” scent detergent. It’s what we use with our 2 year old and what we’ll use for this one.
