hey everyone, so back in april i committed to a psyd program. this was something i wanted to do all my life, clinical psychology so when i got accepted i was beyond excited and ready for the future. however i am realizing that this is not a cheap degree by any means. the degree is 5 years long and i would rack up close to 300,000 dollars in debt. as of right now i have no debt so this is extremely scary. the program starts in two weeks. has anyone gone this route and have any reassuring words, or even if you haven’t any opinions? i know ultimately i am the only one who can decide what i want to do. however i kind of am thinking of not doing it just because of the loans and interest rates alone. i cried like a baby last night cause i am so upset as i have wanted to do this for so long. any opinions appreciated thanks!
