What makes someone a bad mother?

In your opinion, what makes a bad/unfit mother in your eyes?

Answer

Alcoholism, drug use, child abuser, neglectful. Emotionally abusive. Allowing others to mistreat her children.

Not feeding or caring of the hygiene of the child
Obviously abuse (in any form)
Putting random men around your child
Not going to doctor/ dentist visits 
Always having someone else to watch the child so you can do whatever (not for occasions but all the time)
Allowing someone else to abuse (in any form) your child
Not caring about their education at all

Well, I’ve had to deal with someone in my immediate family with this issue. Her biggest problem is abandonment. We all took care of the child and made sure they had everything they needed, while the mother had a social life. I believe if you would rather take care of yourself than your child, you’re a terrible mother.

Not preparing the way for your child to be able to become an independent and thriving adult if they want. 
Medical neglect (child has 40C fever that hasn't gone away in days, gonna just give them a bath and wait it out). I'm also including not vaccinating your child who's medically able to be vaccinated.

Drug abuse- having random men in and out of  the child's life. Not being there to make sure the kids are taking showers and brushing teeth and being fed

Someone who has no interest or concern for the  needs and safety of the child being met.

Leaving your child with other family members constantly because you're too busy doing whatever else. I see so many mom's who leave their babies/toddlers/kids with their grandparents constantly. Or even if they are homez the grandparents are the ones tending to their needs. Not to mention they keep having more kids and aren't actually taking care of them.
Not changing their diaper often enough or taking care of their hygiene in general.
Having questionable people watch your child.
Not helping your child learn to be independent so that one day when they are an adult, they know how to take care of themselves.
Doing drugs/alcoholic.
Not being invested/involved in your child's success in school.
If your child is morbidly obese and there is no medical reason.
Letting TVs or tablets raise your child.
There are obviously more, but these are the ones I see the most that really upset me. Some of these have directly effected my stepdaughter.
