How soon would you move someone in ?
Or would you wait until your engaged?
I’ve been single for 3 years lol my last we moved in right after HS we were together for 5 years. Known each other like 4 months. That’s the only guy I lived with .

Personally.... I wouldnt move in with a man until married. Im old school in the sense a man needs to prove hiself and court me.... then he gets the benefit of me being his wife. Alot of women want marriage and give a guy all of them before that only to end up begging for true legit commitment. Nothing in this life of value do u get without signing something and that includes me. 
    And im not saying chase marriage because marriage certificate doesnt gtd longevity and happiness. One must properly vett and screen the person. Pay attention to habits, behaviors, goals, responses tor dissapointments, anger, and happiness. Look for character issues such as cheating, lying, laziness, self centeredness. Make sure the person makes u a priority and helps support u mentally emotionally physically spiritually and financially. Make sure their values and morals alogn with yours. Look for true signs of commitment and sacrafice and make i tentions clear. Look up premarriage counceling questions etc. And meet people close to him. Protect your womb and dnt even give access until u thoroughly studied him as a man and no babies until marriage. Thats just me. Im traditional. For some doing their own thing works.... but for most it doesnt end well.

I want to move in with someone before marriage because I think it is important for me to understand how someone handles housework division and shared finances before legally committing to them. 
But that wouldn't happen before dating for a couple years or ideally, more, until I am confident I know them well and that I know they're in it for long term and we are a good partnership.

When I was 23 I moved in with my bf of 4 months. In my opinion it was way too soon and I didn’t fully know him yet. We continued to live together for 2.5 years but it was a toxic relationship 💯 and if we hadn’t moved in together (and gotten a puppy) we would have broken up within the first year of our relationship I think. 
I moved in with my now husband after dating for 9 months (I kept my apartment just had all my clothes and personal things at his place for another 2 months after that) and that was a way better experience. There weren’t really any surprises and we were already really comfortable with each other. We had gone on a 10 day trip together a month or so before deciding to move in together so that was a nice “trial” run too lol

My husband & I started living together right away. A few days after we started officially dating (we met & had been seeing each other on/off for 2 months prior to making it official) 
We've been together for 11 years now, married for almost 8. 😊

We didn't move in until after we were married. We both took moving in as serious commitment, like marriage, so we waited until then. It worked well for us, and continues to do so. That's just in my experience though.

I moved in with my boyfriend about 5-6 months into the relationship but I was spending 4-5 days/nights there a week since like 2-3 months in lol it’s different for everyone if you feel ready then go for it

I’d rather move them in then go live with them. If shit doesn’t work out you still got your own shit!! Trust me, been there too many times to trust that anymore!!
