How ofter are you bottle feeding your 4/5 month old?

Cant seem to get a clear answer on google. Feel free to explain. We are every 4-5hrs but he can go 6hrs I usually have to make a bottle before he asks for it.

Wow that's long! But if he has no problem going that long, I think it's OK. But you really want to make sure he's getting enough in a day. My daughter gets 5 bottles a day (about 5-6 oz each, every 3 hours) and sleeps 12 hours a night.  But that's just how we do it. She is not able to go much longer that 3 hours. I think she's done 3.5, but that's it haha.

I feed on demand, and he normally drinks 40 oz a day ranging from 3 to 7 oz per bottle. He also eats 10 oz of baby food a day.

She’s been feeding every 2 hours at day and one 5 hour stretch at night. So this week after a little research (because she’s started spitting up and not feeding well) I’m trying to stretch her to 3 hours between feeds. She’s eating better now EBF

Our girl eats 3-4oz every 2-3 hours. When our son was her age he was doing 4oz every 3-4 hours. 4-5 hours sounds like a long time, but if that works for you guys and she sleeps well at night and is gaining weight then it’s probably fine. Every baby is so different. You can always put in a quick call to the pediatrician to see what they say. I think it’s more about making sure they get enough to drink in a 24 hour period
