We’ve been dating over a year. He’s my first love and I’m his first love. Both 25.

He has always treated me kindly, consistent, always puts in the effort never any games etc.

The only thing is the way he treats/talks to his mom is a huge turn off for me. When we are over there he will sometimes call her an idiot, by her first name, won’t go grocery shopping etc.

It was really bad this weekend and I’ve seen enough.

I’m really getting towards the end where I’m like hmmm do I dump him?? Because my dad treated my mom like crap growing up and I do not want that to be my life in 10 years. Now he is nice to his grandmom. They go out every Wednesday night and he is very close with her. Which is one of the reasons I love him. He’s a family guy. But every strange the way he acts toward his mom.

We already talked about moving in together having kids getting married everything.

I’m going to talk to him about it this weekend. I’m just confused because he always treats me so well. He knows I hate name calling and I demand respect.

I need to tell him there is no way in hell my kids will treat me like that when I have kids. I do love this man, but it’s a turn off and concerning the way he will talk to his mom at times
