My boyfriend of 6 years and I broke up because he was doing some toxic stuff. I asked if I could pick up my beach chairs that I bought and some library CDs that I have to return by tomorrow or I’m going to owe full price and he keeps putting it off until the next day because he says he deserves closure and isn’t ready to say goodbye yet. I’ve been begging him for days to set them outside for me to come get. He keeps saying no to me picking them up and I found out he was going to his friends house tonight. His mom texted me earlier today asking if I could please talk to her son and I asked her if she could set my stuff outside for me to come pick up while he’s gone. 3 hours ago she said she would. I just texted her asking if she was able to set them out and she replied “no, they’re staying here.” I have no idea why she said that when she was originally okay with it, I’m thinking he told her not to. Is there anything I can do to get my stuff? I can not afford to pay for the library stuff.
