Winter Baby due and already causing a problem
So I am currently living in Europe, and there is a tradition that for 6weeks no one is allowed to come and see the baby outside of immediate family due to the baby’s health and the mother’s., which most people understand because it’s a culture thing. However, when I am trying to explain to people that because it will be colder and winter people get the flu and since they still haven’t got a hold on the whole Covid I’m going to be quite strict with who I am allowing to come to my apartment to see the baby, and people are getting upset.
Even my husband is getting upset when I try to explain to him that I want him to have minimal contact with people and not go hangout with his friends as often to minimize the risk of the baby getting any sort of virus. Am I wrong for wanting to minimize the amount of people coming to see the baby during the winter period and should I just stop being overbearing??
