Where should I move

Question

Single mom of 3. I’m wanting to move out of state, not soon but hopefully within the next year or two. 
I’m looking for: 
Somewhere it snows every winter and gets good rainfall year round 
Is pretty
Is a good place for a single mom to raise her kids
Is safe
Not too pricey like NY
has good job opportunities
Good schools 
Has good people 
Somewhere in the US please :)

I live near Omaha, Nebraska. Lots of good schools, very safe, and everyone is pretty friendly compared to major cities elsewhere that I've experienced. If you're unfamiliar with it, it sounds like a boring place but there's actually a lot to do, especially for families. And it's in the middle of the country so it's super easy to travel anywhere. Chicago and Denver are 8 hr drives away, Minneapolis and Mount Rushmore are about 6, Kansas city and Des Moines are 3. It's easy to get away when you want 🤷‍♀️ 
We don't have dreamy winters like someplace more North East have, but we get a few good snows in every year. It starts warming up in May and getting warm/hot in June and July. Starts cooling down around September and sometimes it's cold by October, but definitely by November. Some years we do have a drought but this year we had really good rain.

tahoe is lovely. i have a friend who grew up there and is now studying bioengineering and undergrad head of her school's prosthetics lab at a uc. also pretty safe, i've never had an issue and a lot of homes have advanced security systems and security guards for the neighbourhood.
