So I finally went to the ER last night to get checked out. I had self diagnosed myself with hg basically since I found out what it was. I’ve been severely sick since I found out I was pregnant and I’m 19w2d. We went in and I got blood and urine tests done and officially got diagnosed! I was also very dehydrated which I knew because of puking 1-8 times a day does that. Got iv fluids and 2 more medication to add onto the 3 I’m taking! Ones a suppository. Lol the dr goes does that bug you? I said shove whatever you want up my butt if it will make me feel better! 😅 HG and pregnancy has been rough and emotional I’m done. I want to feel better, I want to be able to eat and provide better nutrition for me and baby. My nurse talked to me about at home iv. And to call my dr to ask about it. My husband works construction 14+ hours a day. We went to the er when he got home at 9pm and left at 2! He works at 5 and we were both so tired. Obviously baby comes first but being able to do this at home would be great. Wondering if anyone else did at home iv? Did you get a port at the hospital did someone come and do it? Curious what to expect? I’m gojng to call my dr in a bit just wanted to hear some personal stories.
