When packing for the hospital will you take a bag or suitcase?

I am due with my 3rd baby in 8wks or less and with my first two I just packed a medium to large size duffle bag. However, with Covid my husband may only be able to leave the hospital once, if at all. So I have a feeling this time I will need to pack stuff for him. Whereas with our other 2 he just went home to shower or change. So I didn’t really have to pack anything for him.

I also was thinking to pack a few snacks or drinks due to not having visitors at the hospital. Usually visitors would bring us treats or special meals and this time that won’t be an option. (Our hospital doesn’t have the greatest food).

We also don’t know gender of baby so I have a few outfit options for both.

I’ve considered just packing a suitcase this time as I feel it would be more organized than trying to stuff everything into a duffle bag. But I don’t want to seem ‘extra’ rolling up to the hospital like I’m there for a weeklong hotel stay! Lol

Just curious what other mommas have used or are planning to use for hospital packing.
