Born at 35 weeks

My due date was August 25th, but on July 20th I started having contractions I went to the hospital and was given medicine to help my body relax in effort to stop the contractions. Everyday during the 20-24th I was told to go to the hospital because I kept having contractions that were consistent. And on July 25th at 8:30 am I got up to go to start my day when my water broke. My husband and I rushed to the hospital because this is our second child and we didn’t know how fast our son would be here. After 12 hours of labor, & 30 minutes of pushing our son was born at 35 weeks. He is such a fighter and is doing so well. We are so lucky that he didn’t have any major health issues with being born early. He was 6.99 lbs and 20 inches long. Welcome to the world Elias Manuel Sanchez. 💙
