I drank at 5 weeks. Did anyone drink and their baby turned out okay??

I conceived during Christmas season 😂 I drank for Christmas and for New Years and didn’t find out I was pregnant until January 4th. My baby boy is perfectly fine.

I did, I had no idea I was pregnant, I had gotten a negative pregnancy test at the clinic the week before. I'm a teacher and it was the end of the school year so I probably had a glass of wine every night then got drunk at our town festival that weekend. Found out the following Thursday that I WAS pregnant and already 6 weeks along 😬. My baby turned out completely healthy, just dont drink anymore!

Don't worry, just don't drink again! My mom didn't realize she was pregant with my sister until she was 2 months (oops lol)and acted like normal drinking and eating etc. and my sister turned out just fine!

I got really drunk at 4w5d. I had tested that day and got a negative so drank. A few days later I finally got my positive. I wasn’t worried because I figured I had ovulated late and I was just 4 weeks the day of the positive but my scan matched my original dates and it worried me sick. I told my Dr and he said it was too early for it to affect the pregnancy. The baby wasn’t taking anything from me yet so to relax and just don’t drink again. My daughter was born perfectly healthy.

As long as you stop anything that can be harmful to your baby once you know baby should be perfectly fine. I was drinking wine coolers and some mixed drinks before i knew i was pregnant but once i knew i stopped and baby is healthy and past the 20week scan with flying colors. So no worries.

At 5 weeks you are only 1 week technically pregnant. Right now baby is pulling everything it needs from the egg you released. It won't start to fully pull from placenta for another week or so. 
Just don't drink again and all is well.

Yes I drank pretty much daily and way too much one weekend where I was black out drunk at 5 weeks 😔 didn’t know I was pregnant until 6 weeks. Baby is ok though!!! It happens all the time, don’t worry over it too much! Talk to your dr about it if you have any concerns, I did and she confirmed baby is just fine! The first few weeks baby is protected in a yolk sack so baby is protected for first few weeks from this sort of thing! It happens all the time though!
