ICP, if you had it once, did you get it again?

i had to fight to be diagnosed and they didn’t do so until i was 36w5d

YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT. 2 FREAKING DAYS BEFORE IT COULD’VE BEEN INCREASINGLY FATAL TO MY SON.

and i delivered that week, i think i was 37w2d, but i got pregnant back when my husband returned from deployment in march and suffered a silent miscarriage in july so that pregnancy didn’t progress far enough along for me to know whether or not i would get it again.

my question is, for those of you moms who had it once, did you continue to get it in your next pregnancies? was it worse? did it start earlier?

i just got a bfp the other day and i’m keeping my fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy, as well as actively trying to switch OB’s. i’m just wondering if i’ll have to advocate for myself again this next pregnancy with my next doctor. thank you!
