I think I have a stye or possible clogged tear duct? How should I go about it? I don't want to go to the doctors if it's not serious enough

My daughter gets these all the time and we've taken her to the dr... he just says warm compresses and DO NOT rub or scratch. Also don't wear any eye makeup.

Warm compresses and massage if it gets worse or you don’t see an improvement I would go to the doctors. Because if it is a clogged tear duct you don’t want to put sty medication in for no reason

They also sell stye medication over the counter. Just go to like Walmart or Walgreens and ask someone.
