Excessive bleeding and clotting (pics attached TMI!!)

I got my birth control out 3 months ago and every period since has been heavy with clots the size of a golf ball or bigger. There are times I’m changing my super tampon every 15 mins. It’s like this about the first 3 days and then it’s no clots and normal bleeding. Should I call my ob? Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal after birth control.
