Oral surgery !

I went to the dentist recently to get what I thought was going to be a simple consultation to get a tooth pulled that would have costed roughly $200 but that quickly turned into me needing an oral surgeon to remove my tooth for at around $500 & because I don’t have dental insurance I’m paying that upfront and out of pocket! It really sucks, I’ve never had any type of surgery so I’m a little shook, my second appointment is Friday, has anyone else ever been through this ? If you have please share any advice or stories you can to help a girl out. What should I expect ?
