Is 8 weeks too early??

I just turned 8 weeks today and I have a sneak peek gender kit and I was wondering when I should use it. I know it says as early as 8 weeks but idk if it’s that accurate that early

Have you had your first trimester dating scan? If you’re truly 8 weeks it should be fine! ☺️ I only ask because I have a friend that took it before her scan thinking she was 8 weeks. Turned out she was actually 7w5d when she took it and she got a false girl result.

If you haven't already had a dating scan id wait & see how far along you actually are first before proceeding with the test.

I would strongly suggest waiting at least another week. I did both of my pregnancies with sneak peek at 10 weeks and both were accurate for boys
