Advice?

Not sure where to post this so it’ll probably be in like 1 or 2 other groups.

So my partner & I have been together for 2 years & are sexually active. We always use condoms & usually he does a few strokes before actually putting on a condom. We both agreed on how great it feels, but no matter what we always wear protection. I have always been iffy about birth control due to the symptoms I’ve heard about, but I’ve decided to go on the pill (my appt is on Monday) since we both love the feeling w/o condoms. I talked about it with my partner to get his opinion & what he thinks about me going on the pill. Overall he said he supports whatever decision since he knows my true thoughts about birth control. But, he also said he’ll still wear the condoms & I honestly don’t know how I feel about continuing using condoms while I’m on the pill, especially since my main reason to go on it is for a good sex time while still being protected.

(We both go to our doctors go get tested/yearly check ups & both are clean, felt the need to add this.)

Honestly, I don’t know how to bring up this topic/conversation again to him, & I don’t know how to tell him that pretty much I no longer want to use condoms.
