Could I be further along than 35 weeks?

We went for ultrasound pictures yesterday for the fun of seeing our baby grow. And after getting report I question if I could be further along than 35 weeks based on measurements of the baby. Just curious if I could be wrong ...

After 14 or so weeks babies grow more based on genetics rather than dating. The accurate dating ultrasounds are prior to 14 weeks. Also, the weight and size ultrasounds at this stage of pregnancy can be off by pounds!

They told me my daughter was measuring 38 weeks at my 36 week appointment. I went into labour at 40+2 and she was 7 lbs. those ultrasound measurements can be way off.

They have different measurements every ultrasound. They go by the first growth scan for counting time. Your baby is not a robot that grows according to a chart, they grow at their own pace, that is why doctors rather look at the wider range, but the maschine just gives average.
No need to worry, unless your doctor is worried.

After your scan around 12-14 weeks... they give you an actual due date & that date can not change no matter how big or small baby gets! 💙

If you had an early ultrasound, they are pretty accurate. My baby was measuring so far ahead at 35 weeks that they thought maybe the due date was wrong. They pulled my first ultrasound to double check, and said that those are very accurate and I just have a big ass baby. 😳
